"This is one of the first Pampered Chef recipes I had. I loved them so much I made them over and over again after the party. These pop-in-your-mouth gems even use basic ingredients! I bet the kids will love to help with this recipe!"

Questions & Replies

  1. Would like to at least partially make these a few hours ahead. Which way do you think would work best? 1. Completely make and bake them; wrap in aluminum foil and reheat. OR 2. Put the dough in the mini-muffin pan ready to fill and cover the muffin pan with plastic wrap; mix the filling and cover and refrigerate until ready to fill and bake the puffs. Has anyone tried either of these methods?

  1. If you find the onion flavor too strong just saute for a few minutes until they are wilted and then add to other ingredients.

  2. Yummy as an appetizer or on a party buffet.

  3. These were great. I used 1 chopped green onion instead and I subed cheddar and mozz cheese as that is what I had on hand. I served them at my BFFs bridal shower and they were gone in no time with plenty of requests for the recipe. Thanks!!

  4. outstanding!! i made this for my brother's baby shower with minor changes. i used sharp cheddar cheese since i dont care for swiss and green onion to give color & since my brother doesnt like regular onion. so good and so easy!!

  5. These make great appetizers. I sometimes use Cheddar cheese in place of the Swiss cheese. I also add about 1 T fresh chopped parsley with the ham mixture.
