These look great on a festive platter of sweets. They are super easy to put together and oh so cute! Arnott Royals have a biscuit base topped with marshmallow and coated in dark choc.
- 1 (200 g) packet biscuits (Arnotts Chocolate Royal)
- 40 g white chocolate
- 12 imitation cherries
- green icing
- Melt white choc in microwave.
- Drizzle white chocolate icing over top of biscuit, top each with a imitation cherry (or Jaffa sweet) and decorate with green icing (1/2 mint leave or other green jelly sweet works well here).
- Place in fridge to set.
- Viola -- little christmas puds.
What a fun little recipe! I couldn't find Arnotts Chocolate Royal biscuits and used Delicje Szampanskie, a Polish biscuit that I found in the cookie aisle. My cherries and actually dried cranberries. For the icing I used a commercial premixed icing in a bag. Made for Everyday is a Holiday Tag.
gorgeous! made these for the kids, the adults had mini brandied puds! Used green jelly rings, sliced, for the leaves. quick and easy!
These not only taste delicious for a store bought cookie but are gorgeous on your Christmas cookie trays. Only thing I did was to let the white chocolate refrigerate until set then added the icing and cherry. I did use a half of a candied cherry rather than a whole one. I also cheated using the Betty Crocker easy flow green decorating Icing which is simple to use! Thanks so much Stardustannie for a great addition to my cookie tray!
