Mimi's Sour Cream Pie

This very simple pie was a favorite in my step-dad's home. Mimi is his daughter and was given this recipe by her mom. I have tried different variations, ie putting it in a chocolate graham cracker crust, adding his favorite (cherry)pie filling. Whatever I've done, he loves! So, from our house to yours........... enjoy!

My DH loves trying my new recipes and gladly helps me rate them. This one has got to be one of his favorites. He assured me that I could make these often. I made as directed, except I only had lemon flavoring, so I used that instead of vanilla. IT WAS GREAT!!!!

  1. Beat eggs until smooth.
  2. Add softened cream cheese, sugar and 1 tsp.
  3. vanilla.
  4. Pour into graham cracker crust (graham crackers mixed with melted butter or store bought).
  5. Bake at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes or until it doesn't shake.
  6. Cool 5 minutes Combine the sour cream, sugar and 1 tsp.
  7. vanilla.
  8. Pour on top of cooled pie.
  9. Bake for another 5 minutes.
  10. Refrigerate for up to 4 hours.
