Delicious meatloaf recipe! I usually double the recipe and cook two meatloaves at the same time, then freeze one for another meal. My children love it, especially my now 13 year old daughter. I've been making it for a few years now and is the only meatloaf recipe that I make!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Butter a roasting pan. Mix beef, pork, onions, green peppers, garlic, eggs, cream and bread crumbs together in large mixing bowl. Season mixture with salt and pepper. Shape into a loaf and place on prepared pan. Pour broth over top and place in oven and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally.
  3. Remove pan from oven. Using long spatula, remove meat loaf from the pan. Place roasting pan on stove over high heat. In a small bowl, whisk flour with 2 tablespoons water. Whisk slurry into gravy. Bring liquid to boil and cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Season gravy with salt and pepper.
  4. Slice meatloaf into 8 slices. Serve 2 slices per person with gravy.
