  • In a saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
  • Allow milk to boil for 3-5 minutes, or until saffron has dissolved.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Allow to cool to warm drinking temperature and serve immediately.

  2. I've had saffron pudding before but never thought of making this lovely drink.Really nice before sleeping. Served it warm and made for ZWT6.
     
  3. My mom went to Spain and brought me back some saffron, my one request. This was my first time using it and I wanted to try something easy. I reduced to 2 servings. The flavor was light and unique. The saffron never truly dissolved but it didnt affect the taste.

  5. A really nice comforting sort of drink as you said ideal for bedtime. I brought it to a boil quite gradually to help it infuse well and found the quantities spot on to let the wonderful saffron flavour come through without being overpowering.
