This was a lovely dessert risotto - I did add lots of grated lemon rind at the end and it tasted great although I did need to use 4 cups of milk to get the desired softness of the rice . I used arborio rice and served this with stewed fruit.

Excellent! I didn't use lemon and replaced a cup of milk with a cup of cream. I also used a very light unrefined sugar. It was lush and didn't need anything extra on top! Two of us gobbled it all up for an afternoon treat on a snowy day. Thanks for posting!

Thank you so much for the recipe and the tip with the Carnaroli or Arborio rice. I'm from Germany and always loved Milchreis, but since living in the US, I couldn't find the right brand of rice to make it very creamy. Thanks again.
