This is a recipe that my daughter in law prepared for us on tri tip steak. I have used it on pork and chicken as well and it is delish.
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 6 ounces Pepsi
- 5 chopped green onions
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 1 dash Accent seasoning
- 1 dash black pepper
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Marinate beef 3-4 hours or overnight If possible.
This is an excellent marinade!! I used it as a dipping sauce for fried chicken wings. It worked out really well. While the wings were frying, I poured the marinade into a small saucepan and brought it to a boil. I then simmered it for about 20 minutes to bring the flavors out more. I will definitely be making this again, as both a marinade and as a dipping sauce. Thanks for a great recipe!!
This is a delicious marinade. I followed the recipe exactly except I don't ever use accent. We used top sirloin steak. My DH loved this. Will be using this again. Thank you for a great recipe. Made for PAC 07 Fall.
This is a truly outstanding marinade...we had it on roasted chicken and it was just fantastic. I'll be having this again...next time on grilled steak! (: Thanks for posting, Lilyretta, and please keep those recipes coming. Made for PAC 2007.
