this is a recipe from my husband's best friend Mike who has since passed on. we miss Mike and think of him often when we make and serve these yummy potatoes. we call it Mike's Party Potatoes but you will call it delish!!"

ingredients
- 2 lbs hash brown potatoes
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 ounce) can Durkee onions
- 1⁄2 cup butter (melted)
directions
- mix all ingredients except for the Durkee onions and melted butter in a 13x9 pan, top with can of Durkee onions, pour melted butter on top.
- bake at 350 for 1 hour.

interested in healthy cooking and eating with some fun mixed in (within reason) my cooking pet peeves are "too many cooks in the kitchen" i have 5 sisters in law along with mom, mother in law and assorted nieces and cousins when everyone is in the kitchen with me-asking for some utensil that i dont even own!!! it drives me crazy!!! i love being involved at church and spending time with my hubby, family and 2 dogs. fishing swimming and boating- wintertime we ice fish, ice skate and tobaggon for fun. so i love being around the water whether it is frozen or not.
