Delicious. Will be making them this way again. Used Johnsonville Brats, Flying Dog Old Scratch amber lager, bakery store toasted Italian buns, and Ingelhoffer's brown mustard. Good ingredients make for a good recipe.
These are very good! In good weather, I grill the brats first and then simmer in the ingredients listed in my crockpot. But they are great either way...juicy and tender! Thanks for posting Lauralie.
Wow delicious and easy is about all I can say. Its a Paula Deen recipe so all is good. I never watch the food network so i thank you for posting this recipe. Made for Cooking With Kids Friendly Forum Tag Game.
Wonderful! We make these over a campfire and you just can't go wrong with this recipe on a warm summer night around the campfire! The only thing I alter from time to time is to use red onions vs. yellow. Thanks for posting!
These were great! Full of flavor! Ended up throwing the brats on the grill for a few minutes instead of browning in pan in order to give them that yummy grilled/char taste :)
Loved it! Lauralie, you've got a winner here. It's quick and easy for a weeknight meal, and the cooking method delivers a bratwurst bursting with flavor. Thank you for posting!
These were delicious!! We used Sam Adams Boston Lager in honor of the Red Sox playing in the World Series tonight and these had a wonderful taste! Very easy to make and tasted yummy! Congrats on winning the football pool and thanks for sharing this great recipe!
