• Serves: 6-8

ingredients

• 2 1⁄4 cups flour
• 1 2⁄3 cups sugar
• 2⁄3 cup cocoa
• 1 1⁄4 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 1⁄4 cups water
• 3⁄4 cup shortening
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

1. Heat oven to 350.
2. Grease/flour pan.
3. Combine ingredients in large bowl. Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, then 3 minute on high speed.
4. Bake 45 minutes. Cool.
