Excellent burgers! I thought I had to add the hummus to the burger mix, before reading the instructions .. I added about a quarter cup to the burger mix anyway, and they were the greatest burgers ever!! Thank you!!

What a wonderful combination of ingredients, you did a great job! I followed your instructions exactly. I used fresh mint from my garden and served it on pita bread. Loved the addition of the hummus. This is a great change of pace. Thank you for sharing.

These were absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS! I had these on nan (which is a little softer than the pita) with some feta cheese and a slather of yogurt and a little chopped onion. The pine nuts gave a nice little crunch there! I really like these a LOT! They almost tasted like a gyro (one of my favorites)! Thanks, Canarygirl!

Outstanding flavour combination Canarygirl, thank you. We ate this for dinner tonight with Angela Sara's Fattoush-bread Salad and homemade spicy potato wedges. So tasty. We served it with low-fat natural yoghurt and hummus as a sauce. The ground beef was VERY low fat, so next time we make this, I will add a couple of slices of bread cubed and soaked in water to the mix.

Great burgers, CG. The flavors in the burger mixture went very well together--you creative little thing. I did as you suggested and topped with hummus and had them on nan. Made a delicious, adventurous dinner for my husband and me. The kids, well, they are not quite there yet. Thanks.

Turned out great considering i mistakingly left out the egg. DH said he had felt like eating this for a long time. We served this with falafel, tabouli, fried eggplants, and shoestring fries. Great thing about it is it took almost no time at all. These could be put onto skewers and BBQ'ed too. Thanks for posting!

Excellent recipe. Love all the flavour combinations especially the crunch of the pine nuts. I wasn't sure if I should pre-toast the pine nuts or not but I did, in a hot fry pan, before adding to the ground beef mix. Served as suggested with hummus The Best Hummus, sour cream and chilli oil. Thanks for posting!

These are truly tasty. My husband made them and followed the recipe exactly. The touch of cinnamon makes them distinct... We will definitely have them again.
