These are so decandent. They're a snap to prepare and my hubby gave them rave reviews when I made them around Christmas time. I forgot to save the recipe in my cookbook. Thanks to Diana #2 for posting it as one of her "thank-you" recipes for the Kraft Hockeyville competition, it is back in my hands. Can't wait to surprise dh with a batch. Diana, the picture looks as good as these taste.

Gerry, these go together like lightening. Good thing too cause they will disappear just as fast. Billy called this 'Voting Food'. These are really wonderful little treats. I love the mixture of cereals and of course the peanut butter. I was quite surprised, they weren't as sweet as I would have thought. The only change I made was to drizzle chocolate over the top once they were cut. Isn't there a law somewhere that you can't have peanut butter without chocolate? :) Honoured to make this as a "Thank You" for voting for Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia in the 2010 Kraft Hockeyville Competition.

I pressed these into greased mini muffin tins. I didn't have cornflakes so I used some cheerios instead. They were a nice treat, thank you.

I loved the name of this recipe and that's what got me to shop for the ingredients and try it. I used Homemade Corn Syrup Substitute {Homemade Corn Syrup Substitute ( Simple Syrup )} as we do not get corn syrup easily here in Oman{to be honest I havent yet seen it in the market!}. Instead of slicing these into squares, I applied some butter on my palms{greased them} and shaped these into balls. Then, I rolled them in a mixture of fresh grated coconut and chopped walnuts. Pecans may also be used instead of walnuts, in my opinion. I covered the tray with clingfilm wrap and refrigerated these until dessert time. These went really well with the little kids who were our guests. Thanks alot for the fun time!
