A simple, delicious trick that my mom taught me... enjoy :-)
- "Quarter" the onion by making an "X" cut - but do not slice all the way through. (Bottoms will still be attached.)
- Place slivers of butter between the slices.
- Microwave on high 3-5 minutes.
Simple & good addition to the table. We also add bullion to butter - very little as it can get salty...
Wow! I love simple things that are delicious and this is a keeper. I cooked a couple up this weekend to serve over potato cakes and ended up eating one all by itself. Thanks for a great recipe!
