This was really good. I added some cinnamon, a little extra cocoa and a little salt. Yum - thanks for the quick, easy last-minute dessert recipe!

I followed this recipe exactly and was not disappointed in the appearance and texture (it was cooked perfectly) I was however more than disappointed in the taste. It was quite bland. Nowhere near chocolatey enough and not sweet enough. By the way I dont like too sweet things but it was quite bland. I would make it again but I would put in a lot more cocoa powder and throw in some dark chocolate chunks. Maybe for a special occasion it would be nice to add a little cointreau liquer or tia maria............

I just made this and I followed the directions exactly. When I put it in the microwave I set the timer for 12 minutes but decided to check it after 3 minutes to make sure it wasn't going to run over, like she stated it might. It was almost a clump of chocolate!! I got it out and mixed it up with a mixer (it was so thick I couldn't use the spoon) and that didn't help much so I added a little more milk. I don't know what happened but this was a total disaster for me :( The chocolate itself tastes pretty good but it seemed like it could have been sweeter, maybe more sugar?

I found this recipe so easy! Best pudding I have ever made. The only thing to note is that microwave cooking times vary depending on the wattage of the microwave. I used a 1200w and it only took about 8-9minutes to cook.

We were quite surprised at just how well this turned out. I've never made a microwave pudding before. The texture turned out very brownie-like with a yummy hot fudge sauce poured over. Ice cream or cream is essential to cut through the richness. Tasty and super quick if you need a dessert in a pinch. Thanks mortar&pestle! Made for PAC Fall 2008.
