These potatoes turned out great, big hit with the family. I love scalloped potatoes but they can be so much work. I pulled out my new mandolin to slice the potatoes, and used this recipe to make for a quick side dish. Made these first, then put them on the top rack of the BBQ while I cooked up some steak and mushrooms. They bubbled away on the top rack which gave them that nice "from the oven" crust.

This tasted very good. I found out that doubling it doesn't work out too well. I doubled it and almost doubled the time in the microwave, but that was still not enough. I think I cooked it about 50 minutes in all, and there were still some potatoes that were not cooked, but it was still very good.

I thought these were good but my family loved them. I followed the recipe other then I used two cans of sliced potatoes. I did add pepper to the mixture. I cooked mine for about fifteen minutes total.

I made these using 3 white potatoes and 2 sweet potatoes (smallish - medium)and they turned out fantastic! Great way to prepare this side dish in summer!

These are SOOOOO good! I have wanted to try this recipe forever and I am so glad I did tonight. I used to point my nose up to microwave recipes, but over the years I have found some good ones. I used 4 medium potatoes, 1/3 cup fine chopped onion, 1 cup milk, the can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, 1/4-1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. pepper and a dash of salt. Had to cook mine a little while longer than posted, but that's what happens when you cook with potatoes. Also before serving I sprinkled the top with dried parsley and paprika. Thank you so much for posting. This will be great to make with leftover holiday ham.

These are so easy and so delicious that you didn't know they were made in the microwave. They turned out perfect. I did add some extra seasoning before cooking. Thank you for sharing this recipe with us.

Yum. Due to pantry limitations, I used cream of chicken soup and parmesan cheese in lieu of cheddar. My family loved it, but was divided between 4 and 5 stars (not a bad problem to have). Will rate with stars once I make it according to the recipe directions. Can't beat having a dish like this in your arsenal when the weather gets warmer and you don't want to heat up the house. Thank you!

Delicious though mine came out a bit dry but that was my fault as I did not put in the whole amount of milk the recipe asked for.I used mozzarella cheese as it was all I had in hand and it still was delicious. Can't wait to try it with cheddar cheese. Now I can actually cook in the microwave:).

This recipe earns five stars on several levels. Top of the list is everybody at dinner loved them and asked that we have them again. Secondly is the ease of preparation and the low number of ingredients that most of us have in the pantry. Last but not least, very fast to the table since they are cooked in the microwave. These are truly awesome scalloped potatoes. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic! I used less onion, added a touch of minced garlic and used a couple different cheeses, and it turned out amazing! My husband, son and I gobbled them up :) A perfect recipe for those who are short on time! I will definitely be using this recipe again. Thank you!

WoW! I used 4 med yukons. I can't believe how good this was. The two of us finished the whole dish!!!! I didn't have just cheddar. I used a litte of everything; mozz, cheddar and a mexican combo. I'd serve this to guests! It would be great to put the finished dish under the broiler for a couple minutes. Thanks for sharing. If we had left overs I'd eat them for breakfast :)

These are wonderful. If I want to make my husband happy,I make scalloped potatoes. I was in a rush and found this easy and quick recipe. My processor was already to go and in no time the potatoes were in the microwave. I use Recipe #184827 instead of the can soup. Thanks for posting. Rita

Any opinion I had that microwave potatoes couldn't be good.. flew out the window when I tried this recipe. Sooo good and creamy, extremely easy with hardly any cleanup, and the smell of them cooking was amazing:)

This is without a doubt the BEST recipe for scalloped potatos that I have ever had (including oven baked) !! It's quick, easy and the kitchen smelled wonderful. It just didn't serve 8 people though. The wife and I ate all but 2 servings THANK YOU !!

This was a real easy fast way of making scalloped potatoes. I would recommend to anyone to try. I had to add my own additions of course and add minced garlic and some cayenne pepper for some heat. For the second 12 minutes of cooking, I put my microwave on 1/2 power because I was afraid of the cheese sauce getting overdone before the potatoes were tender. Worked great. Thanks for posting!

Yesterday I was craving scalloped potatoes but didn't have an hour to spare so I was excited to try this recipe! It did take about 5 minutes longer to cook in my microwave than listed (not a big deal). I liked this recipe, but I think next time I will add a bit more cheese (I know, I know...of course that would make it better!) and add some salt and pepper. I think the salt would add a lot. I'll let you know how it goes!

I lightly sprayed my casserole dish with pam then Layered potatoes onion and cheese (I used marble jack because that is what I had) then repeated layers. I poured the milk/soup mixture over it and cooked for 10 minutes. I stirred it and cooked for 15 more minutes. This was so easy I could not believe how delicious it was - with little effort and so quick. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe :)
