Although the edges of the toast were really tough, I still love the ease of this recipe! I can't believe eggs can actually taste good cooked in the microwave like that! Thanks!
I like the idea for this and I love poached eggs. But I don't think I would make this again. The egg itself worked out really well - you just have to play around with the times according to your microwave. What I didn't like was that the toast became really tough after being in the microwave. I would rather cook the egg separately and then add it to a piece of toast.
This was really good and easy to make.
This was so easy! Poached eggs are one of my favorite breakfasts and this just turned out wonderfully. I microwaved for about 1 minute on high and it worked out great. Thanks so much for posting a keeper!
Quick, easy, healthy and delicious! Took about 40 seconds on 100% for me. Thanks! **Updated** I made again today and layed a piece of sliced american cheese over the toast and then a few slices of cooked bacon before pouring the cracked egg on top and it was outstanding!! Not quite as healthy, but good none the less!! Thanks again!
This is wonderful! I recipe ready made for tinkering. I like my egg yolk runny and I found that not piercing the yolk and cooking for 30 sec (in my microwave) on 100% made a nearly perfect over easy egg! Thank you for this recipe, no more cereal for me!
This is an easy and fun way to make breakfast. No messy pan to clean up. Just be sure to watch the egg as it cooks and start checking for doneness after about 45 seconds.
WOW!!! I just made this and I cannot believe how easy and quick it was to make! I used gluten free bread Gluten-Free Flax Bread, and it was FABULOUS! Thanks for sharing this great new way to make eggs Trisha!!
I liked this quick little breakfast. All the egg yolk ( my favorite part of the egg) went into the toast and not on the plate. Thanks Trisha W. bullwinkle.
Quick and easy.
