Easy and Yummy. What more can or do you need to say? Good to make with kids.
- 1 cup raw peanuts
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon margarine or 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- The 1 tsp of baking soda should be heaping.
- Combine sugar, syrup and peanuts. Microwave on high 4 minutes, then stir. Cook 4 minutes then stir. Add vanilla and butter or margarine.
- Stir. Cook 2 minutes on high and stir. Add baking soda then stir vigorously. Pour immediantaly onto buttered pan and let cool. Break into bite size peices. Then enjoy!
This recipe was so simple that I let my 2 year old do most of the work (I measured, he dumped). *L* It was a great recipe to bond over and the end result was a happy mom and a hyper but content little boy on a sugar high! *L* Thanks for the recipe! Made for Spring PAC 2010
