Microwave " No-Bake Oatmeal Cookies"

ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1⁄4 cup margarine, softened
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup peanut butter
- 3 cups quick oats
directions
- Mix together sugar, margarine, milk, cocoa, and vanilla. Heat in microwave 2 minutes. Stir. Heat in microwave 2 more minutes. Stir in peanut butter until well blended. Add oats. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Allow time to cool.
- * Measure oats carefully; too much and they will be too dry.

I’m not that big on chocolate and peanut butter. Swapped those out for ground flax meal and almond butter. Then I only had 2 cups of oatmeal, so added about 2 cups of shredded coconut to make up fo it. Added them both dry with the oatmeal. Coconut isn’t as absorbent as oatmeal. I also used a lesser amount of almond extract In place of vanilla. The liquid part seemed

This recipe inspired me to make the same cookies but I substituted the margarine for real butter and sugar for Black Hills Butter Pecan flavored honey and then used 1 cup of quick oats didn't have peanut butter but Thank you very much for this recipe it inspires others to put their own unique take on it
