  1. Combine sugar, milk, cocoa, butter and vanilla in a microwaveable bowl.
  2. Microwave until mixture boils.
  3. Cook 1 minute.
  4. Remove.
  5. Add peanut butter and quick oats.
  6. Drop by Tablespoonsfuls onto wax paper til set.

did you let them sit in the fridge for about an hour? I tried this recipe this evening - May 24, 2006 and it worked. However I did add 1/4 C of cocoa powder ( I like more chocolate ) but I don't think that made a big difference
