This is from Home Cooking magazine, Mar/Apr 2006 edition. It's fast, easy and delicious. For personal taste, we leave out the onion and tabasco, and double the cheese.

  1. Mix first five ingredients in 2 quart microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add milk and water.
  3. Dot with margarine.
  4. Zap on High 5 minutes with cover. Stir, then zap on medium 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
  5. Add cheese, let stand 5 minutes to melt.
