A simple way to make fudge that I've been using since childhood.
- Grease a 9 inch pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a bowl combine all ingredients and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
- Stir all ingredients with a spatula. Microwave on high 2 1/2 minutes more.
- Pour into prepared pan and refrigerate to set for at least an hour. Cut into small peices and enjoy.
This felt like quite an adventure: making fudge in the microwave! I added 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup chopped pecans in step three but otherwise - being in totally unfamiliar territory - I followed the instructions exactly. I'm not a serious fudge- eater - and acquiring a love for fudge I can well do without! - but making this recipe certainly satisfied my curiosity and more. 'Twas indeed extremely tasty!
