These are easy and simple, and very similar to the ones I've been making for years! The amounts in my cookies are a bit different, and they use pecans instead of walnuts. I did not make these golf ball sized, as I have trouble with the smaller ones staying together. The taste is really good with the walnuts, and I'm glad I tried them this way! :-) Thanks for sharing, bssagman!   1. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add flour and chopped nuts. Roll golfball-sized balls of dough in your hand.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes, or until light brown.
  3. Roll warm cookies in powered sugar.
