Mexican Tszatziki

A modification of Greek Tszatziki with a Mexican touch of cilantro, chili powder and a little heat. Great as a cool side dish. I used Toni Gifford's Chili Powder.

Made just about 1 1/2 cups of a colorful and tasty side dish. I did use a 1/2 teaspoon less chili powder than the recipe called for but will use the full amound next time around. TFS

Directions

  1. Blot excess water from the chopped cucumbers.
  2. Combine cucumbers, onions and cilantro in a medium bowl.
  3. Fold in the sour cream.
  4. Add the chili powder, sugar and mix gently.
  5. Chill for at least an hour.
  6. Garnish with a cilantro sprig or cucumber slice.
  7. NOTE: Cooking time is chilling time.
