Mexican Sweet Bread (Bread Machine)

"A good, slightly sweet bread. The egg adds flavor, but is not too "eggy" tasting. This is our favorite basic bread."

  1. So easy to make. I made this for our Mexican Food Day at work and everyone at work was asking where this bread came from.

  2. Loved this bread but instead of all 3 cups of white flour I replaced 2 with wheat and added a little honey. Everyone loves it

  3. We just ate a slice of this fresh out of the oven and it earned everyone of it's 5 stars. It is very light and airy. I used the dough cycle and then let it rise in a loaf pan for 30 minutes before baking at 375 degrees for about 35 minutes. This is a really great bread recipe.

  4. Very easy, loved the dough, it was very easy to work with (under ideal bread making circumstances) and made a lovely loaf of bread. I made mine on the dough cycle and made buns. They were delicious warmed up this morning with some honey-butter! Thanks for posting! Made for Bargain Basement Tag May 2010!
