- 368.54 g lean ground beef, broiled 2 min
- 118.29 ml chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4.92 ml chili powder
- 1.23 ml ground cumin
- 1.23 ml dried oregano
- 1.23 ml salt
- 118.29 ml spicy salsa or 118.29 ml mild salsa
- 59.14 ml light sour cream
- 85.04 g jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained (about 12)
- 42.52 g coarsely shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
- 118.29 ml shredded lettuce
- 29.58 ml diced seeded tomatoes

- Preheat oven to 350*.
- Spray an 11x7" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In large, nonstick skillet, combine beef, onion and garlic. Cook over med.-high heat, stirring frequently to break up beef, until beef is browned and onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add chili powder, cumin, oregano and salt; toss to mix well.
- Cook 1 minute. Stir in salsa; cook, stirring frequently, 5 min.Remove from heat; stir in sour cream. Let cool slightly.
- Stuff shells evenly with meat-mixture, mounding slightly.
- Arrange shells in baking pan; cover with foil.
- Bake 15 minutes; uncover and sprinkle evenly with cheese. Bake, uncovered, just until cheese melts, 1-2 minutes.
- Top shells evenly with lettuce and tomato.

Cooking is my passion, and I am slowly, but surely beginning to venture into the world of baking. To me, cooking is so much easier because baking is so much more exact.
I love to make Italian and Mexican food the best, followed by Chinese and last, but by far the least, good old American food! How can you beat chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy?? I love to find several recipes and put my own spin on them and create a new recipe.
