Mexican Rub

DH and I love hot and spicy food. That being said, this is mixture is extrodinarily hot and we cannot imagine using this as a rub. Just a tiny taste burned the roof of my mouth. I might add 1/2 teaspoon of it to a casserole or a dash to salsa though. My advice is to start with 1 *teaspoon* hot red pepper and then add more if needed to make your preferred level of heat.

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Rub on beef, pork or poultry 1 hour before cooking.
