Good, quick pantry-emptier.
- 1 package lipton chinese fried rice (that's what I had)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can corn
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can black beans
- 1⁄2 cup frozen peas
- garlic powder
- Cook rice per package directions, 5 minutes into simmering add salsa.
- Add corn and beans with a little bit of bean juice to thicken.
- Add some peas (there weren't enough for me).
- Add peas in time to thaw.
- Add garlic and oregano to taste.
