directions

  • preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • in a bowl, add 5 eggs, half and half and mix well.
  • blend in green chiles, cheeses and ham, incorporate well.
  • add salt, black pepper and Ancho Chile pepper.
  • Stir well and pour into piecrust.
  • cover piecrust with foil and bake 40 minutes and take off foil and bake an additional 15 minutes til center is done.
  • serve individually with dollop of sour cream if you like and sprig of cilantro for presentation.
