Mexican chocolate has a distinctive cinnamon taste to it. This combonation of liqueurs captures the true taste of New Mexico.
- 1 ounce coffee-flavored liqueur, like kuhlua
- 1⁄2 ounce chocolate-flavored liqueur, like creme de cacao
- 1 ounce heavy cream
- 1 dash cinnamon
- Pour liqueurs and heavy cream into a shot glass or martini glass.
- Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon.
I enjoyed this drink. Cinnamon makes everything taste better;) Thanks for sharing!
Yum!! We made this two ways - my husband had one with creme de cacao, and I had one with Godiva chocolate liqueur. Both were very good. The creme de cacao had a more chocolaty flavor, and the Godiva was a little smoother. I love cinnamon in Mexican chocolate, but never would have thought about it in a drink. I will definitely be serving these for company when we have Mexican. Got this recipe in zaar tag. Thanks, kcdelong.
