  1. What a treat! I added a dash of cayenne.

  2. This is a great warm chocolate treat. I made this with milk chocolate and left out the sugar. I like the addition of salt in this recipe. It really gives the chocolate a little more definition in taste. Made and Reviewed as the recipe of the day in the Comfort Cafe - Thanks! :)

  3. Made for Comfort Cafe 2009 recipe of the Day. We thought this tasted quite good. The hints of cinnamon in the choco/coffee drink made this different from the others but enjoyable none the less. I thought it was a bit sweet for me but the others thought it was perfect. For myself I will reduce the sugar by a T next time so I can drink all 3 cups. :-) Thank you.

  4. Cinnamon is warming and lovely in this Hot Chocolate/coffee drink. Yes it is very yummy! I did use 1/2 the sugar. Thanks.

I learned to cook in the Coast Guard, worked in several resturants after leaving the service, and still cook as a hobby. My birthday is January 27th, but I'm not telling what year!! I have 2 beautiful children 2 girls ages 2 and 9, a husband who is very much like a third child, a dog, a cat, and a tank full of fish. My RAK wish list: A friendly smile! A funny joke. Heat resistant rubber spatulas. Good vanilla beans. Any exotic spices. And because this is a wish list after all, a good 10" Nonstick sautee pan with deep sides!
