The slaw is very fresh tasting but needed a tweak. I made as suggested & served with dinner. IMO it was lacking something. After dinner, I added more olive oil, salt & cilantro. Let it marinate over night, and it was much better at lunch time. I would suggest making it well in advance (12+hours) as it seems to improve in flavor after time and was still crisp. If you like cilantro, add more than suggested. Thanks for posting DDW, a great side with any Mexican meal.

I love this recipe! This is what I now serve with tacos instead of lettuce. I usually add 3-4 sliced green onions, as well.

What an easy and simple recipe but absolutely delightful. Never thought of using cilantro in coleslaw before and we absolutely loved it. Thanks for sharing a new "take" on coleslaw. It's a winner, DDW.
