  • Brown sausage and ground chuck, drain.
  • In large pot or dutch oven place chicken broth, pinto beans, tomatoes, bay leaves, garlic, thyme and black pepper.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Add meat.
  • Cook 45 minutes.
  • Add potatoes and cook until tender.
