  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Grease a 9x13 pan.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, oil, soda, salt, vanilla and eggs.
  4. Stir in apples, nuts, raisins and dates.
  5. Spread in pan.
  6. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Great tasting cake. I was a little worried when I started to make this as the batter seemed overly thick and I don't bake very often. The results were a wonderful moist cake that was packed full of flavour and held together well. Will be making again soon. Many thanks for a great cake recipe.
