FIRST LAYER
- 118.29 ml Crisco
- 236.59 ml sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2.46 ml salt
- 354.88 ml flour
- 4.92 ml baking powder

SECOND LAYER
- 2.46 ml vanilla
- 236.59 ml brown sugar, packed
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 177.44 ml chopped pecans
directions
- Cream Crisco and sugar and add eggs, well beaten. Add salt and vanilla -- sift baking powder with flour and mix well.
- Spread in long shallow pan and cover with second layer.and bake in 350°. Cut into squares when cool.
- Bake till browned.
- Be sure to note the size of pan and baking times to correct before posting.
