  1. What a wonderful recipe! This was scrumptious! :) I served this with corn on the cob, garlic bread and tossed salads. I didn't have any green pepper or celery salt, and I put in a bit of basil. Those were the only things I did different. Thank you for the great Saturday night dinner! I'll be making this again!

  2. This sounded similar to Salisbury Steak, which I've been craving, but DH has gotten a little tired of that recipe over the years, so I thought this would be a nice change. It was really quite easy, and DD (6 yrs old) helped me do everything except the chopping. The only change was to make about 8 small patties instead of 4 large ones. Mainly because her hands are tiny. ;) We served it over mashed potatoes. Delicious! Made and enjoyed in honor of you and your courage, MizzNezz. Fight Like A Girl!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
