I'm starting to cook more with balsamic vinegar and this one hit the spot. I used white button, less oil and no salt. Delicious! Made for Zaar Cookbook Tag Game 2011.

These were wonderful! I used generic button mushrooms on sale at the supermarket and a healthy dash of Moroccan paprika as well. Made for ZWT 5.

These were good mushrooms, but in making several varieties at once, found them of be lacking in flavor comparatively. The addition of garlic or shallots, would definitely make an improvement. Thanks for sharing your recipe made for ZWT 5 for the Cooks With Dirty Faces

These were good mushrooms. Like others, I used less oil and salt. I didn't think it was too much balsamic, the juice left in the pan was more mushroom water than vinegar-y tasting.

I just love dishes that you can make ahead.........and then serve cold or hot. I did this the day before and served it cold as part of a brunch. Easy, simple and fast. . . can't beat it. Thanks Debber

Love mushrooms; loved this very easy recipe! I omitted the red pepper flakes and instead added some minced garlic, some lemon zest and some thyme (zero tolerance of anything hot and spicy) but otherwise made as instructed. Two of us ate these with some garlic bread for a truly delicious meal. Thanks for sharing! Made for Ali Baba's Babes for ZWT 5.

These were wonderful. My man and I ate the whole batch by ourselves. I did cut down on the oil and I added chopped garlic. Other than that I followed the recipe. So very good. I will make these often. Thanks.
