      Another adaptation for the meatloaf--instead of using strictly ground beef, use 1 lb ground beef, 1/4 lb ground lean pork and 1/4 lb ground veal for added flavor. Another adaptation would be to add 1 cup grated cheddar. VERY TASTY!

      I omitted the thyme and the basil. I put in 1 tsp of regular mustard instead of the powder. I put in 1/8 of a cup of hot sauce instead of chili sauce. Instead of bread crumbs I used 1/2 cup corn muffin mix. It turned out awesome! Thanks for the recipe. My 2 year old even liked it. :o)
