I made this to put in the oven and halved the recipe for just 2 people. I felt as the meat mixture was a bit to wet so I added some Garlic and Herb breadcrumbs to absorb the wetness. I also added about some chopped bell pepper to had more flavor and some chopped onion too in the meat mixuture. Baked the onions for a hour and 15 minutes just to make sure the meat was done. Turned out good, and it would be a great camping recipe :) Thanks for sharing the recipe!

I cut this recipe down to serve one and tucked the package into the oven while preparing dinner for my DD and her family. When SIL asked what smelled so good I offered him my onion. I know it must have been delicious 'cause it disappeared so fast. He said it was great, make it again and don't change a thing. I will make this again soon. Thanks Tish.

I prepared this in the oven on a cold night and downsized the recipe for just my husband and myself. Instead of the pepper and salt, I used Emeril's seasoning and sweet yellow onions. The meatloaves were good, and the onions became even sweeter when baked. This would be a good camping recipe.
