I found this recipe in a cookbook many years ago. The servings vary depending on how big you make your 'burgers'.

i was a little unsure looking at the ingredients, but I was very surprised at the out come! The onion taste was a little too strong for me as well, so next time i won't use a full envelope of onion soup, and i also added garlic powder, crushed red pepper and parsely for extra flavor. in response to chick256-i used a small wooden flat spatula to keep in the round shape while cooking and packed them very tight before placing on the pan. The spatula you use to flip must be bigger than the size of your patty to keep it from falling apart and you must cook it quite a bit on one side before flipping. It was great! thank you for posting!

- In medium bowl stir egg whites, cottage cheese and soup mix until well combined.
- Then stir in oats.
- Shape into patties.
- Spray large skillet with non-stick spray, heat over medium heat.
- Add patties, cook until golden brown.
- Add favorite toppings and serve on a bun.
