I followed the recipe exactly except that I used homemade meatballs and 2 cans of beef broth. The beef broth was absorbed so it was more like pasta and meatballs with sauce but since I don't like soup, that was fine with me. My hubby and son loved it and had 2 bowls. I thought it was alright. the meatballs were the best part. Still, since they liked it so much, it will go into my usual rotation.

I made this as posted with the exception of adding more beef broth, I used 3 cups. Wonderful easy meal. Great comfort food. Thanks! Yummy :>)

This is definitley like a stew. I added garlic but think it needs more flavoring. You definitely need more beef broth. I added about 2 cups more, Homemade meatballs would be the best but frozen to make a quck dish.

I LOVE this dish!!! It is so delicious! I have made it a couple of times now & it is great everytime. It's a nice, hearty dish that doesn't leave us feeling too full (unless we have seconds). I used my own homemade frozen meatballs (recipe 82697-delish), used a diced fresh tomato that needed to be used up with some canned tomato sauce in place of the canned diced tomatoes. I also added some fozen basil cubes and used star shaped pasta instead of orzo since that is what I had on hand. This has quickly become a fav in my house and a go-to meal when we get home late and need to fix something quick. Thanks for sharing!

Yummy and quick. Used turkey meatballs and added some seasonings. I might make it a bit thinner next time, but not too much. Thanks for sharing!

Used this recipe to finish a bag of frozen Ikea meatballs. It was light enough to eat in summer, and I think I'll just thicken it a little as the weather gets cooler. Quickly became a staple dish in our house!

This is pretty yummy, I would make it again, but add extra broth and a an extra can of tomatoes, i even cooked the pasta separately and still ran out of broth, I made my own mini meatballs, it really stretched out a 1/2lb of ground beef, which is great

This is definitely a five star recipe! I made my own meatballs and fried them in a separate frying pan until they were half done. I then added them with the orzo and tomatoes. I onlly had a can of plain diced tomatoes, so added 1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning with the tomatoes. Next time I will cook one extra minute so that the orzo cooks a bit more. Thanks for sharing.
