Meatballs and Sauce

"I made this for my grandaughter's wedding reception and now every time she and her husband come for a visit they ask me to make the meatballs and sauce for them. the sauce can be used for other dishes."

ingredients

• meatball

• 1 lb sausage (any kind)
• 2 lbs hamburger (your choice)
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
• 1⁄2 cup ketchup
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1⁄2 cup onion (chopped)
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup corn flakes (crushed)
• 1 cup evaporated milk

• sauce for meatballs

• 1 (14 ounce) bottle ketchup
• 12 ounces chili sauce (use only half jar)
• 3 tablespoons mustard
• 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1 tablespoon pepper
• 3⁄4 cup sugar
• 1⁄2 cup wine vinegar
• 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
• 5 ounces steak sauce
• 1 dash Tabasco sauce
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons soy sauce
• 1⁄2 cup beer
• 1 teaspoon oil

directions

1. Mix meatballs and shape, place in sheet pan and cook at 400°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
2. Combine sauce and pour over meatballs. Heat in pan.
3. Serve.
