I absoultely loved it. The only changes I made were that I used only ground beef and italian crumbs. The basil and salsa inside the meatballs gave this dish a unique delicious flavor and the sauce complimented it well. It had just the right amount of tang and sweetness.

  1. Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs and mix thoroughly.
  2. Shape into 1-1/2-inch balls.
  3. Place on a foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
  4. Drain well on paper towel!
  5. Meanwhile heat sauce ingredients in a large frying pan, stirring to mix; add meatballs and toss to coat; simmer covered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
