Lovely dark rich sauce. I used the meatballs in a Sub sandwich and it was delicious- I cut the recipe back to 1 lb made extra sauce. Used half the meatballs, froze the other hal f uncooked, froze extra sauce separate. Delicious Saturday night speciall thanks for posting Lali

Well right off the bat I do have to say that I used my own OAMC frozen meatballs for this. I tried the recipe for the sauce. It's not your usual grape jelly/chili sauce recipe and I was looking for something different from that. This is delicious! What a hit! It's my new go-to saucy party meatball recipe. We loved it, and this is a most definate keeper recipe! Thanks for sharing.
When I make meatballs I usually put this in a BBQ Sauce. This sauce was really good. My DH and DS loved it. I agree with another review to use this sauce on other meat, I think it would be great on chicken also. I will be making these meatballs again and esp. the sauce! Thanks for the GREAT recipe.
