OMG this is so delicious and so authentic. My parents were from Germany and my mother always made something like this, especially with any frankfurters and wurst she had in the refrigerator. I love this with fresh rye bread. Thank you for posting.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Peel skin of Bologna.
  2. Cut into fine strips.
  3. Chop pickles (small).
  4. Cut onions (rings).
  5. Put into a bowl and mix well.
  6. Add mustard, oil, horseradish, salt, pepper and sugar.
  7. Chill for a while.
  8. Garnish with radishes and boiled eggs (optional).
  9. Serve with bread (i. e baguette, hard rolls).
