  • Mix all ingredients, except yogurt and lemon with 1 glass water in a pressure cooker and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  • Mix yogurt and roast the meat then add 1 litre water and cook on medium heat.
  • When water boils add rice.
  • After the water evaporates add lemon juice and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with clarified butter.

I am Indian staying in Jeddah. I love to read, chat and sometimes cook for fun. My mom teaches me indian dishes, i wanted to try out some different cuisines so i came searching and found this wonderful site and had to make my account. Mom is a very good chef. she often cooks for 15-20 people and i end up chopping or slicing whatever she needs or making salad. She doesnt let me mess her kitchen so i dont get to try new recipes often.
