1. This was so easy and delicious! Both DH and my youngest 'picky eater' even enjoyed it...WOW... I substituted ground venizen for the ground beef (not uncommon in our household) and shredded cheddar/mozarella blend for the American cheese slices--just a matter of preference and availability. For the mashed potatoes, I boiled some white potatoes, then mashed as usual and spread them on top. The recipe didn't specify instant mashed potatoes and I prefer not to use them for meals anyway. I do something very similar to leftover meatloaf as none of us really cares for meatloaf warmed over, although DH does like meatloaf sandwiches. We will definitely be having this often!!! Thank you for sharing one of those simple pleasures in life Mysterygirl!!!

 2. I just loved the flavor of this dish! We did think it a little on the dry side so next time I think I will use the 15oz can of tomato sauce. I also used tater tots in place of the mashed potatoes. Will definately be making this one again!

 3. This was not bad. Taste to much like shepards pie for ME to like it. However the whole family gobbled it up and wants it again. I liked the combination of ingredients though, just not a big fan of shepherds pie

 4. WOW! Not too cute on the eyes but who cares! The ultimate comfort food. Just make sure every bite has some corn, meat, mashed potatoes and cheese on it! Very good all mixed together. A repeat recipe!

I am one of the early members of Zaar joining in October 2001. It was instantly my favorite site even though there were only about 5000 recipes. Back then the original owners Troy and Gay ran the site and they had a lot of interaction with the members. I miss them.

Through the years it still remains to this day my favorite go to site and the one that I send all of my friends and family to when they need anything.
8724616"
