Perfect instructions for a total gravy novice. I was scared to make gravy for the first time, but this recipe helped me through it - and the gravy had great flavor!

This was very good but I felt it lacked true flavour. The consistency of this was sheer perfection and I will incorporate my own turkey gravy "stock" with this thickening ratio since I've never been able to achieve this consistency. But I added a LOT of seasoning...and it still needed something more. This is a GREAT base and I will use this with my own stock the next time and report back on my progress. Thanks for posting!

I have made gravy in a similar way for quite a while but these directions are so clear and easy to follow that they give you a very confident feeling about the outcome. My drippings were nice and dark this year so I didn't reduce them, but that is a great piece of advice for times when they are not. This was delicious gravy!
