This recipe is from Once-A-Month Cooking by Mimi Wilson and Mary Beth Lagerborg. I'm adding it here so that I can plan my recipe list and shopping list for once-a-month cooking! Prep and cooking time are estimates, as I haven't made this yet.

  1. Trim fat off pork loin. Place all ingredients in 1-gallon freezer bag and seal well. Freeze.
  2. To prepare, thaw and place in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. If possible, turn several times during cooking to coat the meat with the sauce.
  3. When done, shred the meat and return to the sauce. Good on sandwich rolls!
  4. Suggested sides: Crudites.
