This is a Georgian recipe (country, not the state). Use coarse ground cornmeal, look for stone-ground.
- Mix the cornmeal, salt and water to form a dry dough. Split into six balls. Flatten balls to 1/4 inch. Fry in a frypan until golden on each side.
Enjoyed this tasty bread! Very simple and economical to make. I served mine for breakfast with butter and honey; I think it would be great with soup as well. Thanks for sharing your recipe! Made for Fall Pick-A-Chef 2011
