A quick drop biscuit recipe that can be made with just three to five ingredients. I have also made these with skim milk and fat free mayonnaise and they still taste great. Note - 2 cups of self rising flour can be substituted for the first 3 ingredients.


  1. Measure out 2 cups flour and remove 4 teaspoons.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until just combined.
  3. Drop by spoonfuls on to a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 400F for 12 minutes.

This makes it so simple to make biscuits from scratch. I made these to serve with soup and then used a couple leftover ones for biscuits and gravy the next morning. They were great both ways! Thanks for posting!
